Senescence
Senescence is my latest project. I hope it will become a book sometime in 2022. Senescence is the process of aging and the changes that accompany aging. It generally refers to plants, but in this case it serves as a metaphor for my own aging. With Covid still raging (first Delta then Omicron as this is winter 2021/2022) for me many of the feelings and experiences associated with Covid exacerbated the feelings of aging: fear, anxiety, less social interaction. I can't say these images are comforting, but I hope that at least you can connect the imagery with intended feelings.
